A LIVE AUDIO-VISUAL PERFORMANCE
Tic Tac, Tic Tac,… the sound of the clock resonates constantly in our minds and body, hided on the frequency of our heart beating. Can you feel how as time goes on your mind is filled with new memories and is emptied of forgetfulness? Time & Memory is a research, remix and life performance project. Using archive (Filmoteca de Catalunya) audiovisual material from local and national spanish authors dated from the beginning of the XX Century until the 80′s “Time and Memory” builds up a new audiovisual narrative. The resulting videos are shown on a live performance set as well as screened in public spaces.
Objectives:
– Generate public debate about the transformation of the city and the historical changes
occurred over the last century.
– Spread visual heritage of the city of Lleida and Catalonia kept in the archives.
– Recover private audiovisual material and make it available to the general public.
– Bring contemporary art practises to the general public and use them as a tool for social dialogue.
